Second day of Navaratri: Brahmacharini Devi

Navaratri: Brahmacharini Devi

The second day of Navaratri: another form of Parvati and Durga, is Brahmacharini, the form of the Goddess who endure tapas or penances, to win the heart of Shiva. In order to attain it, she chose the sadhu life of self-discipline and renunciation in order to attain spiritual growth.

She is related to the Swadhistana Chakra (Sacral), her color is the orange and her mantra is Om Braam Breem  Broom Brahmacharinyai Namah.

Have a blissful Navaratri!
